Repentance

Repentance

Jesus took the sin of the world upon Himself and died for us all, for you and me.

18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. 1 Peter 3:18 (NIV)

Focus on the cross and spend some time thinking about what Jesus did for you.

Examine yourself for anything that you may need to repent.

Write your Sin down on some paper.

Ask God for forgiveness.

Receive your forgiveness from God.

Shred the paper using a shredder or scissors.

Wash your hands as a symbol that you have been cleansed by God.

“I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more” Jeremiah 31:34

As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us”  Psalm 103:12
